National Concessionary Fuel Office

Welcome to the National Concessionary Fuel Office (NCFO) bereavement notification portal

Please note that this online service cannot be used to advise of any other change in circumstances.

Other things you might want to consider

There may be other organisations you need to contact to let them know about the bereavement. You may want to:

  • Contact the deceased's bank, mortgage lender or landlord, insurance companies, other pension providers and utility companies as soon as possible.
  • Redirect any post using a special circumstances form from Royal Mail so you can watch out for anything you might have missed.
  • The UK government has put together a useful step-by-step guide on what to do after someone dies. It contains a wealth of information including how to register the death, how to apply for probate of the estate and help with finding bereavement support services.
